Timothy V. Luckhaupt

Tim Luckhaupt was born and raised in Columbus, OH. He began his career as a social studies teacher at Bishop Ready High School in the mid 1960’s. After serving two years in the Army, he returned to Bishop Ready for one year before being appointed as principal of St. Christopher Elementary School in the early 1970’s. He served as principal of both St. Christopher and Our Lady of Victory Schools before joining the Catholic Conference of Ohio in 1974 as Government Programs Coordinator. In 1985 he was appointed Associate Director, Department on Education for the Conference, serving in this role until June, 1988, when he was named Executive Director for the Conference. Mr. Luckhaupt retired as Director December 1, 2007. He is married and has three children and seven grandchildren.
