Adoration at the Ohio Statehouse

As part of the "Year of Mission" during the National Eucharistic Revival, the Catholic Bishops of Ohio invite all the faithful to spend time with Jesus and pray for our nation, state, and government leaders in the Ohio capitol building.

Eucharistic Adoration will take place:
Tuesday, October 1, 2024 from 10 am to 2 pm
Governor Thomas Worthington Center
(inside the Ohio Statehouse) 

1 Capitol Square, Columbus, Ohio, 43215


Sign-up List

A minimum of two people need to be in the room from 10 am to 2 pm. Please use the sign-up sheet to commit to a thirty-minute time slot. If you cannot commit to a specific time, or if all the times are filled, please come anytime between 10 am - 2 pm and sign in at the entryway into to the room.

Parking Information and Directions to the Room

Parking Options: 
Statehouse Parking Garage - 1 Capitol Square, Columbus Oh 43215, Access available from Broad St., State St., and Third St.
Public Parking / Hotel Parking - 96 S 3rd St, Columbus, OH 43215

Directions to the Room: View/Download Map 
From the Statehouse Parking Garage:
Once you have parked your car please head to the green level of the parking garage. You’ll enter the Statehouse through a set of sliding glass doors in the middle of the green level, where you will see a sign above the door that reads “Ohio Statehouse.” Note: there is one set of sliding glass doors on both sides of the parking garage. Please find the sliding glass doors that say “Ohio Statehouse” above Once you enter the sliding glass doors, go to the top of the stairs, where you will be greeted by an Ohio Highway Patrol Officer (you will go through security at this time). Once through security, please take an immediate right through the green doors. To get to the Governor Thomas Worthington Center, go half-way down the hall, turn left towards the Museum Gallery and walk straight to the room at the end of the hall. You may also ask any Ohio State Highway Patrol Trooper for directions.

From Third Street Entrance to the Statehouse:
Once you have entered through the 3rd Street doors go left past the Ohio Highway Patrol desk (you will go through security at this time). There will be two sets of white marble staircases in front of you, walk in between them through a room with the map of Ohio on the ground. Continue straight until you have to turn left or right. There will be an open gate museum in front of you. Take a right and the Governor Thomas Worthington Center is in front of you at the end of the hallway. You may also ask any Ohio State Highway Patrol Trooper for directions.
